The Academy of Realist Art (ARA) Toronto

Did I mention that I am studying Realist Art at a school in downtown Toronto as well.........but that shouldn't surprise you. Fashion and Art are interrelated - they are both something I am very passionate about! Level one is 4 assignments in graphite, and level two is 2 assignments in charcoal. Then and only then do you get to touch paint ! Level 3 and 4 are oil paint. I have learned so much here.............precision, decision making, problem solving, shadows, values, how one thing can seriously affect the next...........

Here are a couple of pics of my second assignment in Level 2 charcoal.

How do I manage running my shop Sparrow Lyn, Art school, family and two kids ?? badly ! so badly ! which is why in an attempt to stream line everything I will be bringing my other Art blog under this umbrella along with everything else I love.........Home Decor, Craft, Shop talk, etc. Hopefully this is what you want to read about as well and we both win ! Winning ! ha ha..............where is the Sheen anyway!
